More yellow pea pasta options

ZENB recently announced the launch of new shapes in its pasta lineup made from yellow peas. The new shapes include spaghetti, cavatappi, and lasagna.

ZENB’s yellow pea pasta is made from one ingredient: yellow peas, including the skins. Each serving, or approximately 2 ounces of cooked pasta, contains 200 calories, 12 grams of protein, and 7 grams of fiber. The pasta also contains key minerals, such as calcium, iron, and potassium. ZENB yellow pea pasta is gluten-free, vegan, and non-GMO.

The brand claims that its pastas offer a nutrient-dense meal option for consumers who seek functional foods. The pastas also cater to a variety of diets and lifestyles, according to the brand. “Our goal is to make natural foods more accessible and healthy living more delicious,” said Chief Operating Officer Taichi Sakabe, in a press release.

ZENB yellow pea pasta can be purchased at Sprouts Farmers Markets or the brand’s website; suggested retail prices range from $3.49 to $4.99 per box.
